Project DescriptionAfter visiting the Adelaide showroom and discussing options on creating a stunning feature ceiling, an Adelaide Pressed Metal team of 3 tradesmen made the journey to the remote location of Acacia Hills Northern Territory, 60kms south of Darwin. The project was a pre fab new build, cyclone proof, private residence. Quantites were taken from photos, plans and a video of the 12mm ply substrate that was already in place. The main pressed metal design chosen was Murray Bridge with a Pebblecrete border. The Pebblecrete border at 150mm margins ran around the walls with a 300mm folded margin along the valleys creating 150mm to each side. There were challenges to asthetically matching angles and patterns with the square pattern of Murray Bridge but with our installers expertise and attention to detail the end result was stunning. Approximately 100 panels were used to create the cathedral inspired ceiling. Our team excelled in the challenging conditions of the heat & humidity, working at heights in the remote location and the project was completed in 4 days.
